Roadmap
IMPACT HE follows a structured four-phase approach designed to ensure meaningful, sustainable change in higher education cooperation. Each phase builds on the previous one, fostering institutional capacity, strengthening policy frameworks, and creating lasting impact.
Phase 1: Mapping & Situation Analysis
Laying the foundation with a detailed mapping of funding mechanisms, regulations, and monitoring systems in African and EU universities, ministries, and agencies.
Phase 2: Training, Capacity Building & Networking
Empowering university staff and leadership through hybrid training programs, mentoring, and an Alumni Network to support long-term impact assessment and project management.
Phase 3: Self-Assessment & Societal Impact Reports
Applying knowledge gained through self-assessment tools, software for project monitoring, and impact reports that evaluate international cooperation initiatives.
Phase 4: Sustainability, Synergies & Scale-Up
Ensuring long-term impact through national policy reports, stakeholder engagement, and the creation of national platforms for higher education cooperation. A final project conference will showcase lessons learned and future pathways.
